Brisbane hosts another major event - 2011 Asia Pacific Cities Summit!


And again Brisbane has proved its status of being a 'new world city' with emphasis on innovation and facilitation of international networks development. This July (6th -8 th) the city welcomes the2011 Asia Pacific Cities Summit.

19 from East Asia, 39 from Australasia, 11 from South East Asia, eight from South Asia and cities from Europe, Africa,Middle East and the Americas.

The program features speeches of some of the world leader's, that will share their expert view on today's most important global issues such as sustainability, d
evelopment of the mutually beneficial international relations, international business opportunities.

As a part of the APCS there is a young professionals program, that is a a pre-Summit networking session and workshop on Tuesday 5 July. The unique program is hands-on, run by other young professionals and designed to create a fast-moving and open dialogue focusing on the key Summit themes.
